A piece of history nestled in the center of modern comfort

Immanuel’s congregation was originally established in 1888 in downtown Los Angeles. The current building was completed in 1929, and is located on Wilshire Blvd in what is now the Koreatown district of Los Angeles. The church was listed as a Los Angeles Historical Monument on February 4, 2003. The church was designed by Los Angeles architect Chauncey Fitch Skilling. The building is distinguished by its 205 foot tall corner tower and traditionally-decorated stained glass made by the Dixon Art Glass company, as well as more contemporary glass designs from Judson Studios. There are three organs on campus. The 1927 EM Skinner (Opus 676), a 2 manual 1977 Hradetzky tracker action instrument, and a 1956 Schlicker (the first three-manual Schlicker to be installed in Southern California)
